Azyzah is Vanessa Azyzah Marise Gendron, born in Quebec, Canada 1974. She completed her theatrical training at the Theatre Department of the University of Ottawa where she worked on a multitude of projects as an actor or stage managing with Theatre 100, La Comedie des deux Rives, and Vox Theatre. Since 1999, Vanessa has lived in Prague, Czech Republic where she has performed with the international group Misery loves Company and is presently one of the artistic directors of Divadlo Miloco. Vanessa performed in the following : Good Night Desdemona, Good Morning Juliette (2000), The Encyclopedia of the Dead (2002) - ensemble work, Labyrinth of the world (2003), Le Cabaret Mimo, (2004-2005) Le Mimo SHOW (2005), Macbeth (2006), Sex and Drugs (2007), Twethf Night Workshop (2007), La Machine (2008) Love and War (2009)..

In 2004, Vanessa created the concept of an Art Preschool with owner Osnat Sagi. The school has grown in popularity and prestige. Vanessa is currently the principal of the school as well as the French and drama teacher.

In addition, Vanessa Gendron created Azyzah Productions where she creates her own projects such as: short films (Le Baiser, Inertia, La Balnacoir, La Simplicite), over 200 theatre events for children and "The Magical Suitcase Project" that presents a Concert and a multi-media performance (live music, song, puppetry, shadow theatre and animation)
